Usually by this time of the year I can be found with a faraway look and a seed catalogue planning my spring garden.  The warm winter has made that urge to 'play in the dirt'  stronger than usual, and has presented a unique set of problems.  Now that we have realized one dream (and Foodies is open) the time to plant my usual large organic crop simply does not exist.  Talking over the problem with Foodie regulars I have found that,  for various reasons, many 'would be gardeners' find themselves unable to plant as they might like.  

The good news is that communities all over America are taking on the problem and planting community gardens to great success and so with much anticipation we announce the Community Garden Project.
